Althea West, Gerontologist  

Althea is a financial educator, a long-term care specialist, and President of Advisors Resource Network, a web-based service for insurance and financial professionals.  She has an AA degree in Paralegal Studies, a BA in Psychology and an MA in Gerontology from Webster University in St. Louis, MO.  Her experience includes working as a paralegal specializing in estate planning and probate matters and for the last four years has worked exclusively with seniors to educate and protect them from the devastating costs of long-term care.  She is the co-author of a long-term care insurance training manual, and has taught adult education classes for St. Louis Community College and Southwestern Illinois College.  Althea has extensive knowledge in marketing educational workshops and has several presentations available that highlight creative solutions for the special needs of older adults.
